WHY NO DATABASE?
Some other calorie counter apps enable you to select your meals from an online database, but with Simple Calorie Counter we do not do this.
The reason is simple - Your meal may not match the database exactly and so you are not recording accurate results. If you prepare fresh and healthy meals for yourself you know exactly what is going on to the plate, so you can work out the exact calorie content of each meal more accurately.

This app doesnt let you type in food or search by popular brands like other calorie counters all you do is type in number and it adds it up, so basic you might well use a calculator. Way behind competitors. Disappointed since other 2 fitness/health apps are great!
Nice, Simple, No Online Account Required
Ive been wanting an app like this. Where u dont have to sign up for some online social weightloss program. The app not having a database is no big deal to me. Simple enough to enter it from the package or just google the calorie amount for things like fruit or meat. Databases arent accurate for recipes anyway. If you make your own food u have to calculate calories yourself or it could be way off. Its a lot easier than searching through a huge sloppy database.
